As part of the 41st National Day Celebrations, CCCL participated in the National Day Fair held on Eve Island situated in the bay of Baie Ste. Anne Praslin under the theme “Zil Pros An Mouvman”. Apart from showcasing our products (Aggregates 5-10mm, Aggregates 10-20mm, Crusher Dust, Plastering Dust, Walling Rocks, Crusher Waste, Quarry Waste, Muck Belt and Red Earth) currently available and on sale at our quarry at Cap Samy – Praslin, CCCL also exhibited our range of Paving Bricks which include the KEYSTONE, RECTANGULAR, INTERLOCKING and DOUBLE T Pavers. These are currently being produced only on Mahé, but visitors to our stall were informed that production and sale will soon be happening on Praslin as well.
Apart from promoting our existing products, CCCL also took the opportunity to present to the public our Precast Fencing, which will be available soon at our quarries on Mahé and Praslin. These lovely products (BRICKCRETE, STONECRETE and WOODGRAIN) which offer classic looks and are durable, were greatly appreciated and welcomed by visitors to our stall. These speedy and low-cost installation precast concrete fences will help avoid the cost and hassle of repairing traditional masonry or concrete walls.
The Civil Construction Company Limited (CCCL) at Petit Paris has announced a 10% reduction in the cost of some construction materials with effect from April 1, 2017.
The company’s general manager Dina Gappy broke the news yesterday during a visit undertaken by the Minister for Habitat, Infrastructure and Land Transport Charles Bastienne at the construction firm.
The aim of the visit was for the minister to familiarise himself with the activities of the company, as it plays a crucial role in the construction industry in Seychelles.
Also present during the visit were the managing director of the company Sunny Kan, the chief executive of the Seychelles Land Transport Authority (SLTA) Parinda Herath and the principal secretary for infrastructure Yves Choppy.
